Well, that flight from Dayton was short and sweet but OMG the seats are so close together. I need not have brought my backpack because I couldn't reach it under my feet. Oh well, certainly the seats will be wider wider on the bigger plane from Chicago to London!
I'm writing this from the United Club at Terminal 2 in Chicago enjoying LEG ROOM and free food and coffee and internet and TV and newspapers. Awesome.
Brenda, God bless her, can sleep anywhere. I'm sure I will sleep eventually since I did not last night. Maybe I'm a little hyper.
We have a new cell phone (Brenda), a new camera (Laura) and a small Netbook computer, operating on different wireless systems, so the blog may not be as smooth as it was when coming from Founders Hall! Ha!
The plane we were on from Dayton was an Embraer ERJ-145 had a width of 17.3" and a pitch of (the distance between the front of one seat and the front of the seat behind it) of 31 inches. This is according to SeatGuru.com, a cool Web site that tells you all kinds of facts about the plane you're flying on. It's good to check this before you actually book your flight.
According to Seat Guru, the plane we will be taking from Chicago to London Heathrow is a Boeing 767-300. It has a width of 17.2 inches and a pitch of 30 inches. Hmm, that doesn't sound good. Well, we'll find out, eh? Have a good day and we'll post again later or in the morning.

Happy trails! Love, Melsie
Hopefully, the pitch on the 767 will be 32" or better. Have a great flight - spread out, if you can!
Nice Photo. Enjoy the flight. Marcia

Glad you have a good place to enjoy while you wait for your flight.
